Insomnia
Insomnia is a symptom of sleeping
disorder where the patient has a difficulty to sleep although there is a chance
to do it. It affects people of all ages, including children, but it is more
common in adults and its frequency increases with age. In general, women are
affected more frequently than men. Many of the patient pass this disorder with
stress because actually they want to sleep, but they cannot do it. They finally
take a drug that will stimulate them to sleep or to put their mind at rest. But
if they consume it continously, it may risk their health. They may be addicted.
While the other, they enjoy their insomnia. They consider it as a chance to do
something they want, playing game for example. However, there are several
factors that make someone get insomnia.
Depression, worried, and over stress
because of many problems are the examples of pschycology condition that causes
insomnia. The person in this condition think that his problem is so complicated
that he has no reason to go to bed. He has to solve it immediately, but he does
not know what to do. He thinks about it more and more without care about his
need in sleeping. He will not stop think about it before he find the
problem-solving or before he feels calm. But this case is not good for his
health. He might get weak in the morning time because he has used his energy
excessively in the night.
Another factor that causes insomnia
is the habit of the patient. Someone who used to work at night might have to
force himself not to sleep. Maybe it is hard at first. But as time passed, he
will get used to do it without any force again. Someone who really cannot sleep
at night because he does not feel that his body and mind are not tired, might
feel uncomfortable at first because he does not know what to do while others
are sleeping. But finally he can find activity that make him enjoy his
insomnia. He might reading some books that interest him or just playing games.
This habit is not good for his health either if he does not balance it with
enough sleep in the morning or afternoon. So, he must try to find the time to
get enough sleep although it is just several minutes.
In conclusion, the two factors causing
insomnia is pshycology condition and habit. If the patient cannot control his
emotion, it might cause serious problem for him. He might be stress and
addicted to drug. The habit of cannot sleep at night will also affect his
health if he cannot balance it well. So, he should manage himself to solve his
insomnia.
