Text 1: Narrative

Unforgettable Moment with My Best Friend

            An unforgettable moment with my best friend was when farewell party of my senior high school. We had a farewell party in “Jatim Park”, Malang. Along of the journey, we had a chat with our other friends, watched TV, and did many exciting deed. We were very happy. But when we had just arrived at the place, I suddenly got vomit. As a result, my cloth was wet so I had to change it with another cloth. While I was changing my cloth, my best friend was faith for waiting me until I finished it. Then we came afterward our friends to enter to the place. After that, we gathered in a hall to listen to the speech of our headmaster and teachers. We also watched the performance of our friends who were dancing, singing a song, and many other entertainments. Soon, after the agenda had finished, we went on to have fun together. We took a picture, played all the games provided, and many other activities. That was so great for me. However, we will not forget that moment.

My Mother

            My mother is very amazing. She is a 44 years old woman with a beautiful face. Her face is round with slit eyes, small nose, and a nice lip. She is very beautiful when she is smiling. She has a black straight long hair. Her skin is white. She is small and rather fat. She is also a kind and friendly woman. She used to help other people to solve their problem. She has a lot of experiences to share with. She is also easy to smile and sociable. Many people like her. As a teacher, she has a good behavior to imitate. She is not only a teacher for her students in school, but also a teacher for me, my younger brother, my younger sister, my father, and also the people around her. As a mother, she always protects their children from everything bad for them. She usually advices us to do goodness, be a good person, and obedient to Allah, Rasulullah, and many other people who have a right to obey. She always tries to make us enjoy at home. As a wife, she is a good wife. She always tries to make my father be happy and calm. She used to forgive and apology to my father even when she has no fault. She is very amazing in my eyes and always be my amazing mother –forever-.

How to Borrow a Book in the Library

            In borrowing a book in the library, you must follow the procedure. First, find the computer that contains the library’s catalog. Make sure that the computer is running well and connecting to the internet. Then type the title of the book in the space labeled “subject” or you can also type the author of the book in the space labeled “author” if you know well abut it. The computer will show you the list of the title of the book you are searching. Choose the most suitable book for you. After that, the computer will show the call number of the book that can help you to find the book easily and quickly. Find the book in the bookshelves based on the call number. Finally, show your library card to the library staff. Do not forget to sign it before you leave for remembering you about the deadline to return the book.
